On March 23, 2023, AFCA Belt and Road Financial Cooperation Committee Symposium & "Walking Into SSE" event was successfully held. Participants included Mr. Chen Kewen, Secretary General of AFCA, and representatives of member institutions.
Mr. Fu Hao, Vice Chair of SSE Global Business Committee, delivered an opening speech. Mr. Yang Guang, Division Chief of the Belt and Road Construction Promotion Center of National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), conducted a keynote speech. Representatives from Chinese Banking Association of Hong Kong Company, Securities Association of China, China Futures Association, Agricultural Bank of China, Bank of China, China Construction Bank, Bank of Communications, Industrial Bank, Bank of East Asia, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, Shenzhen Stock Exchange, China Galaxy Securities, Zhongtai Securities, Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance, Marsh Insurance, Beijing Retio Legal And Commercial Service Center For Belt And Road Initiative made presentations and discussions on financial cooperation along Belt and Road and financial cooperation in ASEAN. Mr. Chen Kewen, Secretary General of AFCA delivered a concluding speech, in which he reiterated that AFCA, as a regional international organization, would continue to serve as an international platform for all its members, constantly create exchange opportunities and promote practical regional financial cooperation.
