The 2025 Thematic Seminar of AFCA was held in Hangzhou

On April 16, 2025, the seminar themed "Converging Wisdom in Green Finance, Pioneering Innovation in Tech Finance" was held by AFCA in Hangzhou, co-organized by China Galaxy Securities and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. Over 60 experts and representatives from relevant committees of AFCA， as well as from domestic and overseas institutions attended the seminar.

Secretary General Qi Jianming spoke at the seminar that by building closer cooperative relationships and conducting more frequent experience-sharing initiatives in Green Finance, Technology Finance, AFCA will play an increasingly constructive role in international cooperation. Deputy Executive Secretary General Yang Liyu gave an overview of the work progress and plans of the Green Finance Cooperation Committee and the Industrial Finance Cooperation Committee, and read out relevant resolutions of the IFCC at the meeting. 

Mr. Shingo Nishikawa, President and Director of Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance (China) Co., Ltd., Mr. Fu Hao, Vice Chair of Global Business Development Committee of Shanghai Stock Exchange, Mr. Zhang Jun, Chief Economist of China Galaxy Securities, Ms. Zhang Li, Director of External Affairs of HSBC Bank (China) Company Limited, Mr. Liu Feng, Chief Economist of the International Institute of Green Finance at the Central University of Finance and Economics, Mr. Yu Xiangtian, Head of Mainland of China, Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, Mr. Ma Qing, China Research Head and Asia-Pacific Chief Representative of the Institute of International Finance, Mr. Xie Wenhong, China Regional Manager of the Climate Bonds Initiative, and Mr. Zhang Lin, Zhejiang Regional Head of E Fund Management Co., Ltd. shared insights on “Proactively Addressing Climate Risks to Jointly Build a Sustainable Future for Green Finance”. 

Mr. Wang Fan, Deputy General Manager of the Corporate Banking Department of Agricultural Bank of China, Ms. Cui Xisu, Senior Deputy General Manager of the Corporate Banking Department of China Construction Bank, Mr. Gong Weihua, Chief Information Officer of Bank of Beijing, and Mr. Wang Mingkun, Managing Director of China Galaxy Securities, along with other expert representatives, shared practical insights on “Advancing the development of new quality productive forces empowered by Technology Finance, and AI-driven integrated development of technology and finance”.

The seminar was followed by an on-site visit organized by AFCA to Ant Group and Alibaba Cloud.
